Monday, March 20 was a fantastic day of celebration and learning at SFX as we marked Harmony Day. Our students came dressed in their national costumes, colours or in orange, the colour of harmony. Each class investigated the meaning of Harmony Day and what we can each do to promote peace, respect and acceptance of one another in our world. These are some of our students’ reflections:
‘Everyone is beautiful in their own skin.’
‘The colour of our skin doesn’t tell us who we can or can’t play with.’
‘We all belong even though we are different on the outside.’
