Our Year 5-6 students have led the way this past fortnight with their social justice initiatives. First, we had ‘Caps for Camp’ – this was to raise money for the community of Alexandra that had been affected by bushfires over the summer. We love going to Alexandra for our school camp and wanted to support the community. We raised over $600!
Last week, to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, our Year 5-6 students organised to make pancakes for the whole school. The funds raised went to Caritas, Project Compassion and the students raised over $300. What a magnificent effort!
